I just tested the Ace theme. Whenever I open the site, the login popup fires and there is no cancel option so I have to login on my portal. Is it possible to use your Ace theme as guest site visitor?

Thank you

Robert

Hi Robert,
Did you tested the theme in a local liferay instance? Which browser did you used?

Instance is running on a server in my LAN (192.168....). Safari, Chrome, both same behaviour.

BTW on your demo site there is no cancel button in the modal login window as well. Once anybody clicks Login (may be by accident), he/she must login to continue, there is no way back to guest account

Thank you we will check it.
Regarding the cancel button. It was done intentionally. You can get back just clicking in the back button of the browser. We will provide a new release with the close button.

Hi

Liferay redirect you to the login page only if the page you are trying to access is restricted
for guest users so you have to set the view permission for the page/site and try again.

The login view is not a modal is a page you can get back by clicking the back button of the browser.

Thanks

After reinstalling Liferay from scratch Ace theme works fine. Looks like anything was corrupt on my site  (missing or corrupt jsp files in /html/docbar).

Do you deliver Ace theme with source code? Thanks.
